A guide to your Zero Waste Life in Hong Kong
Everything you always wanted to know about zero waste lifestyle, but were afraid to ask
You have probably heard about this growing movement through your social media feeds or watched video blogs of environmentally-conscious advocates who can fit their whole year waste in a jar.

According to the Environmental Protection Department, over 10,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste end up on landfills daily. More than 20% of it is plastic waste.

Yet, there are small, simple steps you can take to avoid unnecessary waste and reduce the amount of trash you produce in the long run. Our zero-waste journey should start with our everyday choices; whether it is ordering a take-out, getting a drink in plastic cup or buying vegetables wrapped in a plastic foil.

NO!W No Waste

Arrived in Hong Kong 7 years ago, Fanny met many entrepreneurs that she decided to create her own web-agency creating websites for various businesses, hotels and restaurants.

At the end of 2015, she started to read more about the Zero Waste movement. This was a turning point for her: she realised it was high time for her to embrace a more responsible lifestyle by considerably reducing her waste.

However, she couldn’t find the reusable products she needed to start her zero waste journey in Hong Kong. She therefore decided to launch her online shop that would gather all the best alternatives to plastics and disposables.

Fanny is currently trying her best to convince more people to start their zero waste lifestyle through talks for companies and schools.
